Michigan writer and referee T.C. Cameron has the passion & prose to write Metro Detroit's High School Football Rivalries, offered by Arcadia Publishing through the Images of Sports series.
Cameron's experiences as a writer and referee include visiting legendary American sports venues in professional capacities including Michigan Stadium, Yankee Stadium, Notre Dame Stadium, Wrigley Field, Fenway Park and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Assignment journalism has taken Cameron to Roger Clemens' 20-strikeout performance (1996), Clemens' bid for win No. 300 (2003) and seven Indianapolis 500's.
A 1995 graduate of Eastern Michigan University's School of Journalism, Cameron's reporting as a collegiate journalist earned him professional byline status. Cameron is a member of the American Society for Journalists and Authors (ASJA), headquartered in New York City, as well as the Detroit Sports Broadcasters Association (DSBA). Cameron's writing portfolio is complimented by 18 years of high school and collegiate officiating. Cameron began working basketball and added baseball and football to his skill set, in that order.
