TC Cameron picture Welcome to T.C. Cameron’s static website. Here’s the lowdown on TC in a non-traditional bio format.

AUTHOR, AUTHOR: Metro Detroit's High School Football Rivalries, T.C. Cameron’s first foray as an author, was released by Arcadia Publishing in August 2008 and earned reprint before the book’s retail release date (8-25). A contract to write Metro Detroit's High School Basketball Rivalries was signed in November 2008 and tabbed for an August, 2009 release. A third title, Metro Detroit’s High School Baseball Stars, has entered negotiation stage.

SYNDICATE BIG SHOT: Cameron's blog, TheWriteReferee.com, was conceived in August 2006 as TCCameron.com, now Cameron’s static writer site. The site’s popularity among Cameron’s media peers demonstrated the lack of information available to mainstream media as it relates to officiating in today’s new-media age. Additionally, the site’s popularity reflects Cameron’s historical slant towards the stories and real-life experiences that define metro Detroit’s professional, collegiate and prep sports scene.

In February of 2008 The Oakland Press (Pontiac, MI) syndicated The Write Referee. Cameron’s blog started out highlighting the history of prep sports in Michigan’s Oakland County, but has since expanded to become an all things sports column. Shortly after the syndication deal, Cameron moderated a national blogging symposium at New York City’s Grand Central Station Hyatt Hotel in April, 2008.

CONNECTED GUY: Cameron is a member of the American Society of Journalists & Authors, headquartered in New York City, as well as the Detroit Sports Broadcasters Association and the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ). Cameron is represented by The Whalin Literary Agency and agent Terry Whalin.
